Darsham - catalytic converter theft

Police are appealing for information after the theft of a catalytic converter from a Honda Jazz vehicle in Station Yard Darsham near Saxmundham. The theft occurred between 11am Monday 28 March and 8am Tuesday 29 March - crime ref: 37/18800/22

On Monday 28 March in a supermarket car park on Church Street, Saxmundham, two male suspects attempted to remove a catalytic converter from a Toyota Prius by jacking up the vehicle. The theft was attempted between 11.30am and 12 midday. The owners returned to thier car and noticed it 'rocking'. They challenged the male suspects who answered 'wrong wheel', have lowered the vehicle, ran off and made their escape in a medium sized blue car. The offenders were desribed as white in their 20's - crime ref: 37/18722/22
