Sat, Aug. 27, 2022 10:00am — 3:00pm
Location: Dennington Jubilee Hall IP13 8DD
The Dennington Art Exhibition will again take place over the summer Bank Holiday weekend, August 27th, 28th and 29th. On Saturday 27th August, the exhibition will be open 10am to 3pm. Sunday 28th and August Bank holiday Monday opening hours are between 10am and 4pm. As before, entry is free but we will have a donation box at the entrance, proceeds of which will go towards the cost of hiring the hall.
The Dennington Arts crew have put together an excellent selection this year, so come and enjoy a good browse. You will recall the last two shows and how they were so very successful and popular. We had over 500 visitors to the show last year which was wonderful.
Have a good look at the poster for details. Note that on Saturday afternoon we have to close at 3.00pm, but we are back open for the whole of Sunday and Monday, so do please come along and enjoy the event with us and remember a top range of refreshments will be available at all times.
We are intending to serve refreshments throughout each day, but this time will need to ask for voluntary support from villagers to make this happen. As such, if anyone is willing to make a cake/ traybake etc. and/or join a rota of helpers in the kitchen during the exhibition days, the organisers would be most grateful. Please get in touch with Rosie Mckenzie on 07779 721147 to let her know how you may be able to help, as well as which times you are free to assist in the kitchen and in serving visitors with refreshments.
We are hoping that this will again be a well-attended event, and with lots of sunshine too! The diversity of artists who will be exhibiting is evident both in their use of subject matter and the media they work with, which always makes this exhibition really interesting and thought-provoking, as well as traditionally resulting in a high percentage of sales. Do remember to put these dates in your diary – and of course tell your families and friends about this exciting event.
